Cologix Customer COVID -19 Update

The health and safety of our customers, partners and employees is our highest priority while ensuring your critical infrastructure is operational and safe.

As Cologix continues to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and the availability of the vaccine throughout North America, we have made the decision to no longer require an appointment to access our United States data center facilities beginning July 1, 2021.

Further to the above, if a Cologix customer visitor can show proof of full vaccination in the form of a legitimate vaccination card at the time of his or her visit, the following will apply:

  • The Customer visitor should proceed to the security desk during the first data center visit and present proof of vaccination to the Cologix security team. The security personnel will issue or reactivate your access badge which will allow you to freely access the Cologix facility.  Please note that all of Cologix’s regular security policies, rules and procedures will still apply and govern your access.
  • You will not be required to wear a mask while at the Cologix facility (but you may certainly do so if that is your preference).
  • You will no longer be required to complete the Cologix COVID-19 disclosure form upon entry, nor will you be required to have your temperature taken.

Please be assured that Cologix will not be storing proof of any individual’s vaccination status.  The issuance of your new or reactivated access badge will be confirmation that you have provided the necessary vaccination proof.

If a Cologix customer visitor cannot, or chooses at his or her discretion not to, show evidence of full vaccination, then that visitor is welcome to enter the Cologix facility without an appointment, but will be required to continue to follow the Cologix COVID-19 protocols, including, without limitation, completion of the COVID-19 disclosure form and submitting to a temperature scan upon entry.  In addition, those who cannot show proof of vaccination, or choose not to show proof of vaccination, will be required to wear a mask at all times while on Cologix premises.

With respect to all visitors, we continue to ask that if you are feeling ill or are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms that you do not enter a Cologix facility.

As noted above, this change in procedures only applies to our United States data center facilities and does not yet apply to our Canadian data center facilities.  All current COVID-19 protocols and procedures will continue without modification in our Canadian locations. We will update this page if and when there is a change in our Canadian policies.
