Bill Fathers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Over the past 20 years, Bill has held a variety of executive leadership positions in the global communications sector across data centers, cloud services and software. In addition, Bill has served as a Senior Operating Partner responsible for communications infrastructure investments at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm specializing in North American infrastructure and the majority equity holder in Cologix. Bill was most recently Executive Vice President of Cloud Services at VMware and previously served as President of Savvis, a public data center and cloud infrastructure provider. Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors of euNetworks. Bill was also a member of the Board of Directors of Telx, a leading cross-connection and colocation platform. Bill holds a Master of Arts in Engineering from Cambridge University.
Cyrus Gentry, Cologix Director
Cyrus is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Cyrus was a Principal at BC Partners, focusing on investments in the industrials and telecommunications sectors. Cyrus also has four years of investing and transaction experience across a broad range of sectors while at Advent International and J.P. Morgan. Cyrus holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
Patrick Hendy, Cologix DirectorPatrick joined Columbia Capital in 2002 and focuses on Data Center and Enterprise IT Services investments. Patrick is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Cologix, New Signature, and Canara. Patrick previously served on the boards of Virtustream (acquired by EMC), mindSHIFT (acquired by Best Buy), and New Global Telecom (acquired by Comcast), and he was involved with a number of the firm’s previous Internet Infrastructure, Enterprise IT Services, and Mobile investments, including Presidio (acquired by American Securities), XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: XMSR), and NuVox Communications (acquired by Windstream). Before joining Columbia, Patrick worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co in their Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking group. Prior to that he worked at Wachovia Securities in their Debt Capital Markets group. Patrick received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
Neil Hobbs, Cologix Director
Neil Hobbs brings more than 35 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry, holding Chairman, Chief Executive and Senior Executive positions. Currently Neil is the Chairman of euNetworks, Chairman of New Signature and Chairman of SummitIG and in addition has been a board member of Cologix since 2011. Previously he has served on the boards of Teliris, Terrapact and Atlantix. Prior to 2008 he held a number of senior positions at Level 3 Communications, Concert and British Telecom.
Brian McMullen, Cologix Director
Brian is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and has been involved with investments across a broad range of sectors. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Brian worked for H.I.G. Capital. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the investment banking division. Brian is currently a Director on the boards of Cologix, euNetworks, Extenet Systems and Vertical Bridge. Brian holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School, a Masters of Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Ryan Roberge, Cologix Director
Ryan is a Principal with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Ryan covered the oil & gas sector for King Street, a New York based hedge fund focused on distressed and special situations credit investments. Prior to King Street, Ryan worked in the energy group at TPG Capital, a large global private equity firm. Ryan started his career in Credit Suisse’s oil & gas investment banking group. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
Trent Vichie, Cologix Director
Trent is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Founder of Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Before joining Blackstone in 2008 as co-head of the infrastructure division, Trent was a Managing Director with Macquarie Group in New York. Trent joined Macquarie’s infrastructure division in 1999 based out of Sydney, and transferred to the New York office in 2000 where he continued to specialize in infrastructure. Trent presently sits on the boards of the Carlsbad Water Desalination Project, Vertical Bridge and is a former director of Northstar Renewable Power and Tidewater Holdings.
Trent has 20 years’ experience and has been involved in a wide range of infrastructure equity investments and transactions in the rail, roads, airports, communications and utilities sector totaling over $10 billion. Trent received a Master’s degree in Economics from Macquarie University in Sydney Australia, and is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. He is a CFA Charterholder.
