Toronto is the largest metro market and central interconnection hub in Canada. In addition to carrier density, Toronto is a center for financial services and a natural network point for cloud/hosting and large enterprise networks.
Cologix operates in two downtown Toronto interconnection hubs: 151 Front Street, Canada’s largest and most important interconnection point, and 905 King Street West which was redeveloped with the express purpose of serving as the sister data centre to 151 Front Street.
Cologix has designed a new Tier 3, state-of-the-art data center featuring the industry’s highest standards for space, power, cooling and security. The 905 King Street data center can be utilized as a stand-alone bypass facility to the 151 Front Street building or leveraged as a natural extension by utilizing the diverse fiber ring connecting the two facilities. The fiber ring has better than 0.016 Millisecond latency between the two sites.
We support over 150 customers in 30,000 square feet within seven discrete data centres in 151 Front Street, Toronto’s premier carrier hotel and Canada’s largest carrier hotel in downtown Toronto. We offer a choice of over 140 networks, as well as direct connectivity to the Toronto Internet Exchange (TORIX).
