Cologix to provide space, power and direct connectivity to 70+ networks for MICE open IP exchange members

Denver, Colorado – October 10, 2012 – Cologix™, a network neutral interconnection and colocation company, announced today that they have renewed and extended their support for the Midwest Internet Cooperative Exchange (MICE), a non-profit carrier neutral, layer 2 regional Internet exchange in Minneapolis, which provides for an open IP exchange among members. Cologix will provide space, power and direct connectivity to 70+ networks from members to the MICE core switch in Cologix’s facility at 511 11th Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis.

XO’s presence in Cologix’s 151 Front Street data center and Meet-Me-Room enable XO Communications to meet international demand for network connectivity services into the U.S.

XO Communications, an existing Cologix customer in the Cologix Dallas INFOMART data center, is deploying transport and IP infrastructure in Cologix’s 151 Front Street data center in order to meet demand for their network services in Canada.

New space selling fast and reflects strong demand for connectivity rich downtown colocation
